With Ion Fury running on the Build Engine, many fans, old and new, are starting to try their hand at modding and mapping. This page is a way to keep all the fan made maps and mods in one (hopefully) complete list.
Playing Custom Maps[ | ]
Once you've downloaded a fan made map, there are a few steps you'll need to follow in order to play:
- Start by extracting the .map file to the Ion Fury installation directory (if using Steam, the default directory would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ion Fury")
- Start the game and open the console by holding "shift" and pressing "~"
- Type map namehere into the console and press "enter" (for example, if the file name was TestMap01.map you would type map testmap01)
Now all that's left for you to do is frag and enjoy!
